Getting Mani / Pedi while pregnant
Are you getting them or not? If you are, are you taking any precautions whlie you are at the salon?
I ordered this "safe' nail polish online but the color is way too bright for me and I really need to get a pedi before going to FL this weekend. I was thinking about going and just using their polish. Would you? do you?

I go every 2 weeks. I use OPI because it is Tulane and Formaldehyde free. The salon I go to is well ventilated and does not do acrylic so there aren't many harsh fumes. I say go and enjoy yourself

I go weekly for manicures & biweekly for pedicures...I have wraps on my nails & spoke with my Dr ahead of time & was told it was fine. Just make sure it is ventilated. Fortunately my girl knows I am pregnant & makes it very comfy for me

I haven't really thought about it either, but I may not go. In general, I am not a fan of them, pregnant or not, germs, etc., but when I can't see my toes, I'll just my friend do them.

Thanks girls and for the heads up on the OPI - I didnt know about their products - I will be sure to pick a color from that line.
This is my second pregnancy so I dont know why I am being neurotic as I went a few times while I was pregnant with DD - pregnancy madness I guess!!

My salon is well ventilated , I don't worry about it

I got a pedicure on Sunday and didn't worry about it at all. I don't go all the time and think it's fine.

I get mani/pedis every 2 weeks and wear what ever color I want - I think any danger from it, if any, is negligible.

And it's ok in the first trimester as well?? I haven't gone yet. I read about the nail polish remover maybe being unsafe? I am so paranoid.
