Has anyone ever taken Z-Pack antibiotics
while pregnant?
My cold and swollen glands are not getting better  My primary care doc prescribed it for me..but I'm nervous

i think its the safest one to take. im obviouslyl not pregnant but with my sensitive stomach thats the only way i can ever handle..feel better

I took it for a bad sinus infection when I was about 15 weeks. It's supposed to be safe during pregnancy. Not to scare you, but I had a really horrible reaction to it. almost went to the hospital with severe stomach cramps, vomiting, shaking... The doctor thinks my body just couldn't tolerate it and I had to stop taking it. It seems like most people are fine with it though. I'd just double check with your OB first.

I took my first dose this afternoon...plus a Tylenol for the headache / throat pain...I hope my poor  is happily swimming along in his little condo...

a doctor wouldn't prescribe something that wasn't safe for you to take.

I took it about a month ago when I had a really bad cold. It took a week even after stopping the meds to completely be gone of it but it made me feel 100% better

Yes, my doctor prescribed it when I had a sinus infection. I liked that it was only a 5 day thing and not an extended amount of time that I needed to take it. Feel better.

I was put on Z-pack at 9 weeks bc my fever just wouldnt stay down and i wasnt getting better. My ob is the one who prescibed it and said the baby will be fine.

YES, I had to take it twice while I was pregnant - I can't imagine any Dr. prescribing something that isn't safe. I think you'll be fine....but I understand why your nervous - I was afraid to take a tylonal in the beginning!
