First Dr Appt Sono...
Is it internal? Or on your tummy???
I have been seeing an RE for a few months now and all of the sono's are internal... I was wondering once you are prego if that changes...

My first Dr Appt after my BFP, they did a sono and it was internal.
I was 7w5d.
Good luck, it's very exciting to see the heartbeat!

My first external sono was at 12 weeks, everything before that was internal. I had an internal and external for the level II.

My first was an internal @ about 6 weeks... I didn't get to see the heartbeat @ that one 
But it is still VERY exciting!!!

It's definitely internal - Hopefully you will be able to see the heartbeat - I didn't at 5wks 4days, but I saw and heard it at 6wks 4days. Don't be too discouraged if you don't see it yet - It could still just be too early.

I ended up being 5w1d at my first "pre-appt" - they first tried an external but were only able to see the sac with the internal.
ETA: I don't think we saw HB until my next appt.

My first OB appt after being released from the RE was at 9weeks & it was internal. Even part of my 12 week sonogram was internal.

it depends on how many weeks you are. Mine were internals until 12 weeks, then it was external.
