Your family sounds exactly like my family thats why HONESTLY I would take it with a grain of salt. Heres the thing, they didnt start thinking they were funny yesterday. They have probably always had smart azzzz comments which is why you shouldnt internalize it. For your own sake you should do one of 2 things....laugh it off or when they say it let them know how inappropriate they are being. You let them hurt you and there is no reason for that. Many of the things you mention I hear all the time said to preggo women. Do i think its right??? depends on how you feel. People like to go over the top with their BS... If you are overwhemed by this STOP it immediately. YOU and your family should be most important.
You made sense. These weren't my family or my friends, they were friends of my DH's Uncles. We only know them through them. AND yes they are very sarcastic obnoxious people who think they are funny. That is EXACTLY why I laughed it off. Still and all it did hurt my feelings.

Ignore them! My aunt has 6 young children, and while we were all surprised each time she told us she was pregnant, we couldn't wait to meet the newest addition each time.
Her family would not be complete if she had stopped, each kid is a blessing.

People always have something to say...
I cant believe how many people get disappointed when they hear Im having another boy... its like they feel bad for me...
GUESS WHAT- I WANTED ANOTHER BOY!!!
Then when I tell people, I plan to have a third, so many people say "better you than me"
I dont think people mean harm... Thats there opinion.
Honestly- if I could afford it- Id have 6 kids... I love being a mom.
Its something I was born to do, and I want to continue to do it over and over and over again...
If you have the means, patience, etc to have 4 kids- more power to you!!! Tell anyone who disagrees to scratch their @ss!

I posted something similiar back on pregnancy.. how when people see your pregnant, right away they ask "your first?" and when I said "no second".. its like "oh.. congrats".. but when it was first it was "congrats" with huge smile. Totally different response the two.. why is that?

since those people are just plain ridiculous, CONGRATS! you are so right that ever baby is a blessing, and I'm glad you think that way, because nobody elses opinions matter!
plus I want a big family too! and I hear dumb comments all the time about it, and my first is only 11 weeks haha.. people just need to learn to shut there pie holes!
