When do you O?? I am suppose to O on the 21st and according to mymonthlycycle.com it would be a November baby...

I actually thought of this the other day b/c I was like, ugh I won't be able to take walks with the baby outside during my maternity leave if I get pg. this month & then when it's nice out, I'll be back at work 
I got over THAT realy fast though!

according to mymonthlycycle.com if you conceive on Feb 16th your due date would be Nov. 9th!! I think you can still try this month! It's usually March that would bring you a December baby..

Yeah that's ridiculous.. If you were a fertile myrtle and got preggers at the snap of a finger.. i'd say.. ok wait...but seriously.. I wouldn't wait!!

(I don't post here often b/c we haven't "officially" started trying, but you ladies have wonderful advice for when we do...)
Did your husband recently read the Outliers?? Mine did and now does not want a November or December baby. Men. lol.

I got over THAT realy fast though!
lol, We had the same feelings!! But we also got over that pretty quickly. I thought my DH would be more of the one to not want a winter baby, but now he is the one who is like "who cares when the birthday is". Especially after taking last month's BFN a little hard - I know that it really doesn't matter!!

Plus like a pp said.. you would have a Nov. Baby!!! Next month would be the dec baby!! So now you'd have to wait 2 months!!! no way!!

thank goodness my DH isn't thinking that way....although i having a feeling i will end up with a December baby, with my luch.... (which will prob be due right around Xmas b/c of when i O)
Please dont take this the wrong way, but...that would be the LAST day i would want to have a child (i'd feel bad on brithdays being so close to Xmas, etc, etc)....BUT that isn't going to stop us from trying. I realize how hard it is to conceive...i wouldnt want to skip a month and miss out on the opportunity.

Like the other girls said - this month would bring a November baby - not a December one.
Just curious as to why he wouldn't want a December baby? My birthday is December 15th and I celebrated both completely seperately - and never got jipped out of anything.

I guess I'm lucky because DH just wants another and doesn't care what month it is...i'm actually the one who doesn't want a December baby  as per special request from my best friend who is a December baby

December is not the problem for my DH......October/November is completely OUT since he goes hunting......I told him if we ever wound up with an October/November due date, I'd be out in the woods preggo and all in camoflouge hunting HIM if he thinks he's going hunting when I'm due

I can totally understand. Me and my DH agreed on this too. We felt that with Christmas they wouldn't get special birthday...but in pro trying....it could be your month!...so why not get started? I sometimes have mixed feelings on that..

Joe said we can't try this month or next month because we can't have a November or December baby since we're already stretch with all the other birthdays and Christmas. We have my brother, grandmother, dad, mom, Joe(DH), niece, and 2 friends all btwn Thanksgiving until 2 days after Christmas....Needless to say we are NOT not trying...I don't care what he says

I don't understand the not wanting a Dec baby
It is up to the parents, family and friends to make sure a kid has a special bday no matter the month or season.
I'm 12/16 and the DH is 12/31, my sister is 1/18 and cousin is 1/5. BF is 1/3.
None of us would say we had a horrible childhood because of the month we were born in or that we were so close to xmas.
Go practicle with the DH, tell him Dec counts towards this years teaxes, January does not

I had DD in May and love the fact that we could walk arounf town all summer with her, but at this point, I'll have a baby whenever!!!!! I do have up to 1 year (unpaid) to go back to work after having a baby, so I mentioned to DH that I would like to stay out thru 1 summer, so we'll see.
