sometimes if we are going out and I dont want his clothes to get messy.

At daycare they put a napkin in his shirt - we do that at home - it works like a charm!

want to laugh...my 4 year old still wears one and requests one when I forget to give him one he is so trained....he is the messiest eater and even with and rolling up his sleeves, he still manages to make a huge mess. He promised me now that he turned 4, he'll try to be neater but I have little hope. That being said the baby of 18mos -yes, still wears them for every meal and when teething bad because he is a big drooler and would be soaked otherwise and we'd go thru 10 shirts in a day.

I do and he's not really bothered by it at all. I figure when he gives me a hard time, we'll stop.

Yes on DD no to DS (he is almost 3 but should wear one ). If it is in front of her she will ask to put it on. For a while though she was giving a hard time to put it on.

No I stopped when she was around 2.. shes still a messy eater but its gotten better.
