Should I POAS? -------OUT....wow, that s*cks

I usually have pretty short cycles (anywhere from 22 - 25 days). I'm on CD 26...which is pretty rare for me. I tested on Thurs and Fri (because I can't control myself and feel the need to POAS way too early). Both were BFN's. I have all the signs of AF, including the heinous zit that I get on my forehead every month. I'm sure I just jinxed myself but typing this email, but do u think I should test again?

UPDATE: 1/29
I am now 5 days late. I POAS'd again yesterday and got another BFN. Is it possible to get false negatives? I've had cramps for a week, have all other signs of AF, but nothing yet. I really am never late. Also, sorry to be so gross, but I have had horrible gas for the last week (which is something I've never had before).

Final Update:
AF arrived. Grrrrrrr.........
At least now I can schedule CD3 and HSG. Chat Icon

Re: Should I POAS?

lol i think you answered your own question...you probably shouldn't test especially if you feel AF symptons are upon you...i'm sure the moment you test--AF will rear its ugly head! Chat Icon don't waste another stick!

give it 2 or 3 days

Re: Should I POAS?

Not gonna lie if AF missed her deadline, I would be POAS too! I'm all for holding out until AF is due (made that decision this month!!) but once that date has come and gone, i would test.

ITA, this happened to me 2 cycles ago, I was 3 days late and tested and got BFN's, I would wait a few days and you'll get your answer either way.

Re: Should I POAS?

I caved......went to CVS....ran back to work. BFN!

I told DH and he said, "Well, you're always so negative about this and assume u r getting your period, so of course u got a negative. Be hopeful!"

Thanks DH for the fabulous support!

So sorry!

BUT the pack comes with a few tests so maybe try again tomorrow if AF is still not here? It isn't over until she shows.

Just going to ask the same thing. You may have Ovulated later in your cycle this month.
