I only use Kerastase Nutritive products, but that's because it seems to be the only line that keeps my hair soft after thermal reconditioning. Otherwise I always lhad good experiences with Redken products.

I use the Chi Organics line. You could find it at places like Ulta... possibly Trade Secret 
I love it because it's organic- so it's sulfate and paraben free!

I only use Kerastase. After I had DD, I lost a ton of hair and it's the only brand that helps my hair not fall out!

I recently started using Frederic Fekkai Technician shampoo and conditioner and it makes my hair really soft and shiny. Prior to that I rotated between Pantene and Brilliant Brunette from John Frieda.

i like the bumble and bumble line for blondes..
my all time favorite is loreal professional conditioner- the yellow kind for dry hair
day to day i use herbal essence for color treated shampoo and sunsiilk conditioner for long hair...not bad for drugstore

Love this stuff.
But I'm on budget lately. So now I'm using this organix shampoo - green tea - great for dandruff, and a really nice shampoo/conditioner.
You know what DH has been using and his hair has been NOTICEABLY softer and silkier?! Johnson & Johnson's No More Tears shampoo!!!
