So, DH landed a surprise on me last night...
We orginally planned to come off BCP in March and start trying in May. Well, last night he sees my note to myself to refill my BCP this weekend and throws it out!  I asked him why he did that and he said "Why are we waiting? I want it, you want it... let's just do it". I was very shocked bc this is coming from the husband that wanted the baby born after a certain time and a particular season...etc.
So... I am offically off birth control!!  
Although we decided to go about it by waiting at least two cycles, then just letting whatever happens- happen. and if we are not pregnant by May or June we will actually "try" (charting and stuff). So my question is.. am I TTC? I mean can I offically say we are TTC even if we are just doing things the same just without BCP? I am sooo nervous!

In my opinion if you are not taking BC, and you both want a baby you are TTC. As you'll see there are MANY MANY MANY ways people TTC, but it's always what's best for them. Welcome and good luck

congrats! you guys sound like DH and i-- stopped taking BCP and kind of calm about the whole thing--but in the end, if you aren't preventing it.....you're pretty much TTC!

haha, very true! It's funny, I feel like most of my life I have been doing things to try and NOT get pregnant, lol.

this is my first month off BCP too. we said the same exact thing - "lets go with the flow, and after 2-3 months, we will officially start to ACTUALLY try (charting, tracking, etc).
HOWEVER, all of a sudden we are both very excited and tried to BD as much as we could during when i thought i was O. Now im due to get AF next week. Im ready to move on to next month!
