What is Seaford Pediatrics take on vaccinations?
Just trying to narrow down my ped. choice and i think this is the one we will be going with. Anyone know what there take is on vaccinations. Are they conservative? Im soo nervous about this topic.

They do not want to break up the MMR shot anymore.
Their reasoning is that all 3 parts of the MMR shot are not always available for them at any given time- so if you really want to break up the MMR they will do it, but they want to make sure that you know that if you choose to do it that way, your child could possibly not get all of the vaccinations associated with the MMR.
Not really sure if that is what you meant...

They will, but they don't prefer it. Their reasoning behind that is that it puts your child at risk of contracting one of the components that the shot vaccinates them for.

I took my daughter here when she was first born. I had another pediatrician lined up, but they were the house doctors at Winthrop and I got to know a few of them. They are absolutely fantastic. Any questions I had, they always answered...and didn't make me feel stupid!!

i was not interested in splitting up or delaying the MMR so that didn't factor into my decision but i go to seaford pediatrics and i LOVE their office. all the doctors are really nice, helpful and kind. dr. meckes even answered a ton of questions i had while my poor DS screamed at the top of his lungs
