Seaford Pediatrics
hi ladies, I am visiting from the pregnancy board 
DH and I have started gathering information on pediatricians. My OB recommended Seaford Pediatrics, she said that's where she takes her own children.
Does anyone have any feedback? Please feel free to FM me.

Assuming you go to Hanauer? We go there - only thing I don't like is you can't make an appt with a specific MD - you get who you get each time, but we like all the MDs.

i really like the practice and have liked all the doctors there. they have been responsive and followed up. usually my wait time isn't bad either. they don't do interviews though and it is a closed practice, so you have to get in with them with a newborn in the hospital.

DD is 6 months old and so far so good with Seaford Pediatrics. There are 4 doctors, I like them all. It is a busy practice though...
I also received recommendations from 3 other people and Dr. Hanauer, so I felt pretty good about this practice.

HI I go there and I know which drs work when so it try and go on days where the drs i like are there and once im in the room i request a dr and so i always see the one i want HTH :)

They were the peds we used in the hospital and had they not been too far away for us, we would have used them, we were very impressed!

I was recomended through my cousin. They are great! I have met, and love all the Dr's in the practice.
They only take newborns though and wait time has been great. My DD is only 3.5 months but so far everyone has been wonderful and answers my tons of questions...funny cause my OB also told me he takes his kids there too! Wonder if we have the same DR?

Thats who we use too. DS was born a few weeks early so I had no idea who to use! My L&D nurse uses them for her kids and then the nurse my DS had in NICU used them too so I figured they were 2 pretty reliable sources.
So far I have no problems with any of the docs. I do have my favorite and try to make my appts when I know that doc will be there, but all in all I don't have any complaints about the other docs. I have always gotten a quick return phone call when i called with a question and have always gotten a quick appt for a sick visit.
After DS was born I found out that my OB's neices and nephews who live in Wantagh go there too.

My friend uses them for her DD. She has been using them since her DD was born 3 years ago, she loves them!
We just moved to Bellmore and really wanted to join the practice but they are closed unless you have a newborn. However, I am expecting baby # 2 in June, and they said if I bought him/her as a newborn, I would be able to bring DS too.

I too use Seaford Pediatrics and I go to Dr Hanauer as well - too funny!
i have been happy with them overall. i had a problem once with the receptionist, but all in all, they are wonderful. all the dr's are great.
i actually have a family friend who is a pediatrician and when i mentioned who i use she told me that "i am in very good hands!"
