How do you put your Toddler in for a nap?
Do you rock them, do they watch tv or do they just go to sleep on their own?

I put him in his crib with "bunny and bear". I put him in sitting up, he "talks" and snuggles with them and about 10 mins. later lays down and falls asleep.

we have a cd that we play for naps and bedtime. It is the SAME ones since the first day they were put in their cribs. we also have a crib aquarium that is in their cribs, and they are good because they will put it on themselves if they wake up and need to go back to bed.
Most of the time they go down without a problem

I just plop him in the crib w/his binky & taggie blanket. 99% of the time thats it!

I just put him in his crib and he usually goes to sleep really easily.
If he's wound up I'll read him a book in the rocking chair and play his night-time music, then gently put him in his bed and tell him it's nap-time.

I just pick her up, tell her time for a nap...she gives me a kiss and I put her in the crib. She'll babble and sing for a few but then she passes right out

Walk up the stairs telling him it's time to take a nap.
We walk to the sound machine - I turn it on.
Kiss him - tell him I love him - and tell him to take a nap now!
Same thing every day!
He usually falls asleep between 2mins-15mins.

I take a walk in the stroller or I put DD in crib and pray that she'll play/cry/talk herself to sleep.

I bring her upstairs, close her blinds and turn her music on. Lay her in her crib with her doggie and tell her I'll see her in a little while. She's usually asleep within a few minutes.

Most times I can just put him in his crib. Sometimes he'll scream for me and he'll get 10 minutes of cuddle time in bed with mommy and then is put back in his crib.

We take a walk. She used to fall asleep when I was nursing her at lunch, then she gave me a hard time even to get her to nurse. So we cut out that feeding a few months ago and now I take her for a walk.
My parents take her for a walk, too. Everyone feels like it is a good thing because we get exercise and she gets fresh air.
I just came back from our nap walk.

Seriously after a year of fighting her for naps she finally will just go into her crib, play for a few minutes and then go to sleep
