There's a good chance Baby P*star will be here on Friday
I went for my appt. today with the perinatologist- high risk doctor. We wanted to see is Baby P*star was still breech. Well, he is. However, my amniotic fluid is pretty low. The doctor would even CONSIDER me for an external cephalic version. He was concerned that my fluid is on the borderline of low and that I may continue to lose fluid at a somewhat fast pace. So I am going for a biophysical profile tomorrow and then I'll see my obgyn. Depending on my fluid level, Baby P*star may be born on Friday via C-Section. I didn't want a C-section but I have to do everything in my power to make sure my little boy is safe.
Appt. tomorrow is at 4:45 Pm. I don't know how I am going to get through the day. I feel so unprepared. We still don't have our furniture (but we have a bassinet). I am doing laundry as we speak. Honestly, I am SCARED. I have never felt SO out of control in my life.

DOn't worry about the furniture, a bassinett will be fine for a few weeks.
You can't control teh position of the baby at this point, so try to make peace with it!
Focus on the positive, you get to meet your little one soon!!

Start drinking water, a LOT of it.
i had low fluid at 36 weeks with DD. they kept sonoing me over a few days, the first sono it dropped some more, the 2nd sono it had gone back up. I started drinking a gallon a day and it seemed to do the trick. I finally delivered at 41 weeks.
you won't be able to control the position, but you might be able to give the baby and you a few more weeks to get ready.

I remember that feeling when I found out my DS was coming a month early!! It was a strange mix of panic/fear/excitment. I felt like I had no control.
RELAX -- all that you need is a car seat to take your little one home and the bassinet. They require very few items in the beginning!!

Thanks ladies. Honestly, I am not too worried about not having the furniture. We have a basinnet and pack and play so he can sleep there. I prepared myself for the fact that he was probably still breech. However I wasn't expecing to hear that if my fluid doesn't increase, he'll be here on Friday. I felt like I was hit with a ton of bricks.
I needed to feel in control of something today we went to the outlets as planned. Bought some cute stuff for Baby P*star and bought myself a Le Creuset.

Hang in there Hollie. I know what you're going through. I thought I was going to lose it when my OB said "go home, put your feet up and have a nice dinner, because you're having the baby tomorrow". I was like    . At some point there was  because I was terrified.
In the end, it all worked out perfectly. And so it will for you & DH and your DS!!!!

There are periods of time where I am hysterical crying just because I am not ready for him to be here 3 1/2 weeks early! I am trying to relax. My best friend just brought by a ready made hospital bag complete with robe, nightgown and toiletries. I just can't put into words how scared, excited, anxious and overwhelmed I am. I want my son to be ok and he will be. I just didn't think it would possibly happen this way.

Oh wow Hollie!! Just know he is in good hands and wants to finally be able to see your face! 
We only had our pack n play set-up when DS came home from the hospital. His furniture was delivered a week later. No biggie!
Good luck!!!! Can't wait to see you on the Pareting board!!!!!

I can imagine that you are feeling out of control but remember, the baby has an agenda of his own  Once you get to hold that baby boy, you will be so happy, regardless of how early he is!!!!

Good luck Hollie....also things can change. My fluid was very low w/ Googly & they were monitoring me. When I went back 2 days later after drinking tons of water & taking it easy, my fluid went back up & baby came 12 days later.
If tomorrow is the day; you'll be fine, you can never be fully prepared, whether it is tomorrow or 5 months from now....

Hi ladies. I am at work today trying tie up loose ends just in case. My mind can't focus! I am drinking lots of fluids and trying to just relax and remain calm. It's kind of exciting to think that I could be holding my little boy tomorrow. Of course if I get a few more days, that would be great, too!

I know how scary it is Hollie, but it is so exciting at the same time!
I am sure your little one will be safe, and as soon as you are holding him in your arms, all this will be forgotten.
