Just noticed some spotting....looks like AF is here
I did a search on this board to see what it's all about....we did not have sex last night so I know that didn't bring it on. I'm 4 weeks along so I'm nervous.
I felt a tiny cramp as I was getting up off of the bed to go pee. Then went to the bathroom and saw a little red spotting on the TP.
Is this something that I must call my doctor about? Or am I okay?
Man, and I was about to go to the gym this morning and now I'm all nervous to even do anything physical.
Being preggo can be scary!
ETA: I had lots of CM yesterday too....
ETA to UPDATE:
WHEW....took a CBE Digital (good thing I had one left over)....still pregnant! This stuff can make ya crazy!

Don't worry just yet. Plenty of people have spotting and it might be nothing. Try and hang in there today and if it picks up you can call the doctor in the morning. It's still early on so there isn't much they can do for you BUT they may at least be able to put your mind at ease. Hang in there!!

Spotting isn't always bad- some people spot and go on to carry full term. If it gets worse and you start having real cramps, then you want to call the doctor for sure.
If you are really concerned though, it never hurts to call. There are limited things they can do for you since it's so early. They can give you progesterone if they think that's the problem, but unless you have a history of m/c, they will probably tell you to wait it out.
I hope it's all okay!  I don't think I'd go to the gym- maybe you ought to just take it easy today.

I had spotting my first trimester. They did an internal sono and everything was fine. The dr said he can't explain why some women spot, but it's normal, as long as it not a heavy amount.

I also had red spotting at 5.5 weeks. everything was fine. I might have overexerted myself the day before... but frankly, we'll never know what caused it.
Definitely call your Dr. OB's always want to monitor these things... and frankly, it makes you feel much better that it is being monitored.
At 4 weeks, though, they can't exactly do a sono and check-up on your little bean, becuase it's too small. if you DO get a sono, just be aware that you likely will see nothing. At 5.5 weeks, we saw a sac, that's it. only at 7 weeks did we see a heartbeat.....
try to take it easy. Lighten up your schedule and rest in the interim......

I had some spotting also around 5.5 weeks and I went in for a sono and say that evrything was fine. It's not that uncommon for women to spot a little in their first trimester and usually everything is fine.

It's more than spotting now...it's bleeding. I'm pretty sure this is a chemical pregnancy. Still getting positives. It looks like AF is here.

Oh, no...I am so sorry you are going through this. Honestly, if this is your first attempt at getting pregnant and your period is only a couple days late, there is little they can do. If it would make you feel better, go ahead and call though, you never know....
Most pregnancies that end this early do so due to chromosomal abnormalities- your body will just flush it out. I know how painful this is right now. A million for you.

I'm so sorry, but at this point there is nothing that can be done. Call your Dr tomorrow and tell them whats happening. The reason your still getting the BFP is because there is still HCG in your system and the test is picking it up. If you start to cramp badly I'd go to the ER.

ugh i am so sorry. i hope that's not it.
i don't know if this is considered a emdical emergency (although i know it feels like that, and it should) but you can try leaving a message with their answering service, who knows?
you are early so other than a beta/progesterone test there isn't much they can do, a sono won't show anything at this point.

Go to the ER. Most hospitals will not bring you to L & D until way later. They can do some blood work & maybe an internal sono.
