i do have to agree about having that board. I think it would be VERY helpful....
in speaking with a close friend (dur) who had a very recent miscarriage...she mentioned to me that something that is NEVER talked about on LIW is the PAIN of a D&C. she was shocked. I definitely think that this board would be helpful in so many different ways!
i do have to echo maybeamommy's comments - that anyone who has had one - should feel 100% comfortable posting any ???'s they have!

I agree also, I have lost 3 pregnancies and sometimes I feel hesitant to bring up my insecurities and fears about tring to get pregnant again b/c it will be a downer for others.

i think it would be a wonderful idea. Losiing a pregnancy is an experience only someone else who has gone through it can truly understand.
Pregnancy after a loss is also a totally different experience than for someone who had never gone through it.

and its so true.. even to get pregnant again after a loss is hard in itself... its scary all around whether its trying again... or being PG for 9 months.

I agree. I was fearful of another m/c my entire pregnancy with DS. I was always checking my undies to make sure I was not bleeding. So scary. I had nobody to talk to about it though.

I agree with Lauren. Miscarriage changes you.
I also think the board would be a good idea.

i think its a great idea... no one can understand what its like to go threw a MC except for people who have... i keep it all to myself for that reason .. people who never experience it just dont get it and think u are crazy for still being upset.. its horrible

Oh - i hear you. I just wanted to make sure everyone saw that link. the girl mentions something called SPAL....which is for people who have miscarried and then get pregnant..(i think). yea there are many support groups around.. and i am actually in one now.. called IC (incompetent cervix) support.. its a good group but thats for what i have.. not many on here have it..
but i just think it would be great to have this board! ron and kim didnt answer.. im upset

I THINK that LIW and LIF are run during the week only (they have someone available most of the time, but office hours are M-F i think)...
