Girls I am going to be induced!!!
My EDD is 8/18, went for an internal today and nothing....nada...baby is totally not coming out anytime soon. So he doesnt want me to go over 40 weeks which would leave me only next week to go naturally. And he doesnt see that happening so I am being induced next Tuesday 8/12!
I cant wait to see what this  is!!

Question for you...
Why doesn't your doc want you to go passed 40 weeks? Are you trying to avoid a c-section or is the baby measuring large?
I'm due on the 20th & my doc hasn't said anything to me in terms of an induction. This kid is really comfy in there.

I wish my doctor would think like that. Its not fun being 9 months pregnant in August.

OK, I totally don't want to be the downer here, but please reconsider this. If there are no signs of even dialation or effacement, you are setting yourself up for a very difficult induction. If you have no medical reason for an induction, why put yourself and your baby through this?
Please google Bishop Scores to get an idea of what I am talking about.
I'm sorry, but I think your doctor is being totally irresponsible to induce you, simply because he doesn't think babies need to stay in the womb for 40 weeks?????? I'm not trying to be mean here, but that is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard and I can't believe a doctor would actually practice medicine this way.
