I love the Speedy 30...such a classic piece! And there is an Iolite bracelt on the Yurman website that is gorgeous.

Now I have to decideChat Icon

I told my husband I don't want a push present.. not that he would even think about it anyway. But as soon as I get the go ahead from my doctor, I want to have a personal trainer come to the house a couple of times a week to get me into shape. I'm overweight to begin with, but I want to really trim down after the baby is born. Especially since we will be going for #2 when this one is around 8 months old.

nah, I'm a cheap date... don't need one...

I DID request, however, a chilled bottle of good chardonnay, some raw/smoked ham, unpasteurized cheeses, and a good sangria..... and maybe some ice cream.

mommy wants all that she can't have right now!

Mine is going to be either a LV french purse wallet or a Tiffany Bean necklace.

Re: Is it bad that I already know what I want my push present to be?

Nice!!!!

For me, I don't plan to get one specifically.

I plan to spend loads on the kid, furniture, room, etc, (plus we are planning to move and buy a larger home asap b/c I am miserable, so that is a huge present to me). DH always tells me to buy whatever I want so I take him up on that!

So b/w baby items and a new house hopefully, I will have plenty of fun splurging on those things.

Thank you. I have refrained from answering these comments, well, b/c it was not the point of the post. I did not ask people if they thought I should get a push present, nor did I ask their opinions of push presents in general.

DH brought it up, and after what we went through with my last PG honestly I do not see the harm in it. For the record, I get him a Daddy gift as well. This time I am getting him tickets to the season opener at Citi field.Chat Icon

I agree. After what we women go through, some form of acknowledgement by our men is always nice. Chat Icon

And now that I think about it, a really nice diamond ring would be nice...hmmm, maybe I do need to start thinking about one.

My push present is sushi. Chat Icon I cannot wait to eat that again.

I haven't asked for and don't expect a push present. The one thing I'd like to get at some point, maybe for mother's day or my birthday, is a necklace with one of those baby shoe charms. I think they're really cute.
