Level 2 today and it's a perfectly healthy baby....
I am extremely relieved. I have been so worried about something being wrong, especially about the brain and spine, being that I had a slightly elevated AFP on my first test (normal 2nd AFP test though). But they have no doubt, everything looked great!!! I can't believe how baby has grown!
I am in shock that it's a girl, b/c my gut told me it was a boy (but my symptoms did make me think girl). However, they did say there could be a teeny tiny chance when they think it's a girl a peesh could be hiding. But when the dr did the scan she got a front view and she said it's almost certainly 99.9% a girl! All we prayed for was for it to be a healthy baby!!! So we are thrilled either way!
Cervix was FINALLY checked (all done externally) and it was great, fine!!!! Only thing is my big bad fibroid hovering, but so far, not posing a huge issue for anything currently.
Someone pinch me, I can't believe I am here at 20 weeks and all is well!!!

I remember chatting thru FM and you saying how nervous you were about a healthy baby. Glad that everything checked out perfectly fine for your Now just try to relax b/c before you know it you will be a mommy!
