christening party location??
We are having our son's baptism in August and are having a really hard time finding a place for the party. The christening is at 2pm on a sunday. I've called so many places - they're either booked, too expensive, or don't do sunday at that time.
Any suggestions?

We had DD at Singletons in Bethpage on a Sunday at 3:00. They said they usually don't do that time but I toldt hem I had no choice b/c the christening was at 2:00 and I wasn't going to have the party in the evening like they wanted. they were very good but a bit $

oops, more info woudl be helpful...
we would go anywhere along the south shore from about Bay Shore to Patchogue-ish.... and anywhere north of there - Hauppauge, Bohemia, Holbrook, etc, etc. Maybe even in the Stony Brook area.
We have about 50 people.

We had ours at a country club. Try that - they are more flexible with the times...

Two places off the top of my head. Sonoma Grill in Holbrook and Blue in Bluepoint. I had my DD's christening at Blue(formerly Mazzei's) and it was affordable and the place is beautiful & very classy!

paradise diner in hauppauge/smithtown (where 347 & 454 meet) Its very reasonably priced, with a beautiful private room!

or if you don't mind something not real fancy, Brunos Village in Ronkonkoma has a private room (its a bar/restaurant)
