Nassau shower locations???
I love both George Washington and Milleridge but have been to a bunch there already.
Can anybody recommend a place with a similar "feel".
Has anybody been to an event at Waterzooi( was there years ago don't know if it is still around)?
I also saw a place called the Basil Leaf Cafe in Glen Cove maybe? Has anybody been to an event there?
Anyway looking for any helpful suggestions, for a city girl.

How about the Main Maid Inn?
I love Waterzooi and I was there not too long ago for lunch. I am not sure how they configure for a private affair though.

That is definitely on the top of our list right now. I just don't know much about it.

I was at the Main Maid Inn recently for a bridal shower. The menu was nice & the service was good. The room we were in was the first floor to the left past the stairs.

Re: Nassau shower locations???
my shower was at Sans Souci in Sea Cliff, a beautiful place with a gorgeous view of the beach across the street, it was a brunch and the food was excellent, everyone loved it, and many were never in that area before and found it to be so pretty...
Basil Leaf Cafe- I love this place too! this is where i thought my shower was going to be, but i was tricked, lol. havent been there in a while, but have been there for lunch and dinner, and a 40th birthday party in the upstairs room which is really nice.
Good luck with your search!

The Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City does a really nice shower. I also really like Mim's in Roslyn and Mim's in Syosset.

We had DS' christening there and it was wonderful. The food was excellent.
