I am having mine at Sole in Oceanside on a Sunday afternoon but I don't believe they do a brunch - mine is more of a regular meal. My friend, however, had her baby shower at Alias Smith and Jones in Oceanside and it was a brunch. They did a very nice job.
ETA: Try George Washington Manor in Roslyn too. I went to a wedding shower there once and they did a great job. They might offer brunch as well. Check out their website or give them a call.

I agree with the above posters for 7th street cafe in garden city - really lovely place and totally separate from the rest of the restaurant.
Also - crabtrees in floral park (jericho typke). Particularly good if it is a warm weather shower - because the private room opens up to a deck and back garden - but it's also nice in the winter.
for winter - the upstairs at jack duggan's pub in floral park (tulip ave). I had my rehearsal dinner there and have been to two showers there. You have the whole upstairs - dining room that seats 30-40, and you have another room (separated from the dining room by the bar) where there are more comfy benches and chairs and you open presents.
there's a fireplace so it's very nice for a cold weather shower.

I had never been there before - it's mediterranean - everyone LOVED it, including me! I'm going back there for lunch soon!
ETA: My favorite part of that was the desserts! They had assortments of all kinds on the table - in addition to the cake. YUMMY! And it was very clean and pretty inside and the service was great.

I'm gonna look into the Milleridge, I also priced Carltun on the Park but it was like $45 a head, and we wanted to keep it around $30-$35 or so especially with so many people.

Macaroni Grill in Garden City. I had my bridal shower there and it was so nice and the food was good too. Its on Jericho Tpke right next to
Starbucks.

My shower was at Peppercorn's in Hicksville. It wasn't a brunch shower but I've had brunch there and it was really good.
I've also had brunch at Hemingway's in Wantagh who also does parties.
Riverbay does a great brunch. So does the Garden City Hotel.

definitely Hemmingways. I went to a bridal shower brunch there, and the food was amazing! Lots to choose from, and the room was really spacious.
