How many days before O does EWCM typically appear?

Depending on age and your body, you can get EWCM for as many as five days.

I'm such a dork, but I did a spread sheet to compare the key stages of each of my cycles that I've charted - ie when AF began, how long it lasted, if I had mid-cycle spotting, when EWCM appeared, when I o'd, etc.
Long story short - for me, it appears 2-3 days before O and doesn't always continue through O. Hope taht makes sense.

It's different for everyone. For me, it's usually about 4 or 5 days & it gets increasingly stretchy & more abundant each day until O.

Some months mine has been 5-6 days before, others 2-3, and sometimes I haven't really seen any!

I don't have an excel spreadsheet, but I do keep track and run reports.
