Starting on injectibles this weekend
Hi, guys,
Went to dr. this AM-not pregnant. So he's starting me on injectible meds this weekend-DH will have to give me a shot in the belly every day for about ten days. I'm a little scared but I'm going to hang in there.

don't worry about the shots... they really are a piece of cake because the needle is so small! Ice the area first a little bit, and make sure to let the alcohol dry first!

I did follistim injections last month. The shots are no big deal. DH did it for me every night for about 8 days. GL!

ITA- we also use gauze pads afterwards and I put them on where the injection was for a minute... GL!!! I'll be starting round 2 of injections in about a week and a half... plus they're adding another med which is like another 10+ injections... they really are a piece of cake once you get past the first one.
And CLOSE YOUR EYES for the first one if DH does it--- when my DH came at me I jumped away from him and ended up scratching my belly w/ the needle. From that night, I sat down for every injection and never had another problem  GL
