I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved little boy Rogan You, Dan and Rogan have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you and Dan are able to find some peace in the next few days although I know how difficult that can truly be
Your strength overwhelms me - if there is anything you need, to vent or cry to someone or a group of us on here who know what you are feeling, we'll all be there to help you if you would like.
I thought of you when I read this today:
My Mom Is A Survivor
My Mom is a survivor,
or so I've heard it said.
But I can hear her crying at night
when all others are in bed.
I watch her lay awake at night
and go to hold her hand.
She doesn't know I'm with her
to help her understand.
But like the sands on the beach
that never wash away...
I watch over my surviving mom,
who thinks of me each day.
She wears a smile for others...
a smile of disguise!
But through Heaven's door I see
tears flowing from her eyes.
My mom tries to cope with death
to keep my memory alive.
But anyone who knows her knows
it is her way to survive.
As I watch over my surviving mom
through Heaven's open door...
I try to tell her that angels
protect me forevermore.
I know that doesn't help her...
or ease the burden she bears.
So if you get a chance, go visit her...
and show her that you care.
For no matter what she says...
no matter what she feels.
My surviving mom has a broken heart
that time won't ever heal.

Gerty...my heart goes out to you...I know how hard it was for you to write that...I have been thinking about you and your husband a lot and I wish you guys all the strength in the world to get through what is definitely going to be the hardest thing for you guys to get through.
I will always be here for you...you know what I've been through myself...and if you ever need to talk or even just have me listen...or any questions...let me know.
I just can't express enough how truly sorry I am that this has happened...unfair is not even the word...my heart is aching for you...
