Re: Obama's Pastor: U.S. to Blame for 9/11
I know some people will be annoyed by this comment. For some reason before this whole pastor situation..I had this creepy feeling that somehow Obahma is involved somehow with terrorism and becoming president is the best way to get the inside scoop about the country. Now I am doubly scared after the pastor situation..I'm sorry if I offended anyone..just voicing my opinion..crazy as it may be.

This is the man that is supposed to unite our country. A man that for the last 20 yrs of his life, has been spiritually guided by a anti-american hate-monger. No wonder Obama has a problem wearing an American flag lapel. No wonder he doesnt place his hand on his heart duting the National Anthem. No wonder his wife is proud of this country for the FIRST time in her life. If Obama really rejects most of what his pastor teaches, then why raise your own kids listening to it? Lets not forget that his pastor celebrates the teachings of Louis Farrakhan. I'd like to see the media's reaction if McCains preacher celebrated the teachings of David Duke. How can you preach about change and unity, when this is the person your raise your own family listening to?

You may feel that obama is involved with terrorism, but a lot of people believe George Bush was involved with terrorism too. Look at all the corruption involved with BUsh. I bet he's richer than ever and so are all his cronies (Vice pres. and all the rest of the corrupt money hungry jerkies)

Michelle Obama seems like a hateful person to me, and that comment she made showed her feelings pretty clearly about America.

I have to admit, although I probably would not have voted for Obama at the end of the day, this is definitely skewing my views on him significantly....

obama should dis-associate himself with this person.
he is a racist and he spews disgusting hateful talk.
he crosses the free speech line and belongs behind bars for saying the things he says.

I would put my life savings on it...
If you came to me in August and said Barack Obama I would have said "Who?"
Where did this guy come from anyway....too fast and he is shoved down everyones throats so quickly!

ITA. I truly think that too many people think JUST b/c he is "different" (not white and older) that means he will be better, and they fail to look at the whole picture of Obama (and this stuff plays into his whole picture IMO).
He admires a man who preaches hate????? See if Hillary or McCain were associated with the "hate preachers" towards blacks. They would have death threats I am sure so why is it ok in this case?
Obama referred to the pastor as like a "crazy old uncle that eveyone has who says crazy things".
HUH?????? Then why would you chose to associate with the crazy old uncle if you are running for pres of the country your crazy old uncle is spewing hate about????
I'm sorry but I can't see how people can't see how FOS Obama is and what a mistake it would be to elect this man as president. And add that nasty wife of his in and you have a recipe for disaster IMO.

it's sad b/c it shouldn't be about "liking" someone.
I Like John McCain, but between Iraq AND the idea that he could put an anti-choice justice in the supreme court to overturn Roe v. Wade make it a certainty that he will never ever ever get my vote. he's fine up until he puts his nose in my uterus.
and Barak, most people have the good sense of hog tying their crazy uncle and throwing him in the basement when company comes to dinner. we don't sit him at the head of the table and then ask people to ignore him.

well that's an easy one...do YOU actually listen to your crazy uncle, no.
you maybe did before he went loco, but now it's kind of a patronizing...yes sure haha kind of thing.
(can you tell I have my fair share of crazy uncles )
he is trying not to deny what the pastor said, but merely to take the "sting" out of it with the crazy talk.
good luck with that Obama.
if you actually succeed, I may actually start believing you can bring peace to the middle east.

Right, b/c he never has anything substantial to say. It's always some clique speech or sentence that "sounds" good and appeases people. On CNN yesterday, someone brought up a great point about how they want Obama to really address this, not just sit and smile and say "well, he has the right to free speech".
And as usual, Obama is just glossing over this with nothing substantial to say, just blanket phrases and statements to appease people.
