Re: What kind of crayons do you buy for
i used to buy the bigger washable ones- they were pretty good....
do take note that crayolas products are non toxic as well, so in case u do turn your head to wash a dish or something- no harm done if she DOES take a bite...
also, the bigger ones are good bc the dont break as easily...

Re: What kind of crayons do you buy for
Just this week I found Crayola Triangular crayons at Target. They are new, and supposed to be good for kids who can't really hold a crayon the right way yet. I picked up a few boxes, and DD, who is 22 months, seems to do fine with them. Before that we got her the Crayola Beginnings crayons which she used from about 14 months on.

We use the Crayola Twistables. No breaking or little papers on the floor. I LOVE them.

Oh geez, I would hold off until after easter, if you KWIM. The Easter Bunny Aunt Jenny might have bought her something.

Well that's what I was going to put in her Easter basket but Steve says she just has to have them now!! I'll make him wait Who's the baby here
funny my MIL is here this weekend and I told her what I was going to put in her basket. So yesterday we all go to the mall to take Hannah to see the Easter bunny and she bought her everything I said I was going to put in the basket right in front of me and then just gives it to her. (except for the crayons because they didn't have anything but markers!!)

I just bought a box of these yesterday. DD hasn't tried them out yet. I was looking at the other things they had too. They had a packages of 3 of these weeble-wobble type of markers or crayons too. I wasn't sure if those would be good.

I tried the toddler ones and the triangle ones but he hated them. I just ended up buying the good ole regular crayons and he loves them. Much easier for him to use.

Re: What kind of crayons do you buy for
I just saw cute ones in the target circular. They were little characters with a crayon on top. Sorry, I can't explain it any better!

These are the weeble-wobble type I was talking about. They look neat!

We've been using these for a few months now. Love them. They don't roll off the table, Andy has no problem with them.
The only thing that annoys me is that the wrapper isn't as tight as on the round ones, I took all the papers off since they were always coming off anyway.

DD uses the Crayola fat washable ones, she has both the regular shaped ones and the triangular ones.
