What kind of shoes to buy....
Sidney has only taken a few steps so far. Is there a certain kind of shoes I should get - like soft sole??? And where is the best place to go?

Bare foot is best but if you do want to put shoes on her try a good brand like Striderite. They arent too heavy for learning to walk and they have great support... you might want to try an outlet or ebay since they can be $$$

I would recommend moccasin-like shoes, like the Robeez brand. They're soft soled and specifically designed for babies that are first learning to walk.

you can also find stride rite shoes at Marshalls or TJMaxx. usually for half the store prices, but its hit or miss with sizes and styles.

So I went to Striderite and the lady guilted me into buying these. When I told her I didn't like them she said "well if you want to do whats best for her" etc. $40!!!!
I keep her barefoot indoors but when we go to the park we need some shoes. Any other suggestions???
