After 2yrs IF problems and 5 IUIs....
I'm finally pregnant and expecting twins! Not much of a poster, but just wanted to share. My RE urged me to do one more round of IUI with injectables before moving on to IVF. I had given up all hope that it would work, but went along with his plan anyway. Didn't think much about the cycle...and turned out it worked! I'm 11 weeks and babies are measuring right along schedule!
Good Luck to everyone dealing with IF...it truly s*cks to have to go through it.

I have PCOS and never got a period on my own. I started out with Clomid and Metformin for two cycles which didn't work. I then went on to injectables..that's what took such a long time...I'd have to skip one or two cycles after a cycle of injectables because of the amount of follicles I would produce. Through trial and error, we were able to determine the correct amount of Follistim to inject each night. I remained on the Metformin throughout the process and am still on it through the 1st trimester.
