DH's friend from high schools brother recently died in jail. He committed the Vera Wang murders in Manhattan back in the 80's.

She was having an affair with a co-worker too, thats what the said the motive was.
My family thinks he was molesting their daughter. I don't know what to think I hadn't seen her in years and she is older than me.

My good friends BF is in prison for home invasion.
I believe a cousin on DHs side of the family is in prison as well. Drug related.

i have an uncle and a first cousin that are in-and-out of drugs non stop- i know this is mean, but I wish they'd just keep them in there..

thats not mean. I think you want the best for them and maybe they will be less of a risk to themselves and others if they were kept there. It's true for a lot of people

I have a cousin that was in jail for a terrible crime he committed in the late 80's. I haven't had any contact with him since I was 5 years old so I have no idea if he's still in there or not. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he was.

Not currently- one of my cousins is in and out.  They keep letting him out with the agreement that he's going to check into rehab for 6 months. As soon as he's done with the first week in rehab he checks himself out...then there's a warrant out for him.
There should be rehab IN Jail.
(PS- he lives in California-so I think they let him out for rehab b/c of overcrowding.)

At the moment a close friend's brother is in. He has been in and out for drugs and robbing houses etc to get the drugs. :( . It is actually a bit sad b/c we used to smoke things with him when we were in high school.
In the past another friend's brother and two cousins I never met (one has died). The friend was in for a bar fight and the cousins were in and out for drugs.
