Update on my hypothetical question from yesterday
So my whole department was called into an inpromptu (sp) meeting. We were told that one of our co-workers was suspended with pay while they investigate his violation of company policy. I was then called into the internal investigators office and was told that "someone" accessed a secure system and was able to view my salary as well as some other co-workers salaries. It seems like this co-worker will be fired once they compile all the evidence
Ah, just another day in corporate america

Oh dear..
it's crazy cause I don't even care that he found out my salary...I would have told him if he asked me.
