Going for my MRI tomorrow (well, now it's today)
Again, thank you for pushing me to get a second opinion. I still can't believe that first neurologist wanted me to wait months for the next tests.
My leg numbness has been getting worse and is now happening as I drive. They have figured out I have a herniated disk already. (And if you saw the size of my belly during PG, it explains a lot.) I am going for my spinal MRI for them to check for possible damage from the spinal. There's many things they are looking at.
I won't have the results for a few days, so now I just need luck!
And I need somebody to remind in the morning to put lotion on. My skin is so dry that I can't stop itching. Can't do that in an MRI.

Re: Going for my MRI tomorrow
Good Luck!
I suffered from a bad herniation between the L5 and S1 disks. It pressed on the nerve going down my right leg, so much so that for months I favored the left leg for everything and my right leg was getting atrophied!! I had an electromyogram (??) on the nerves in my legs and did not have nerve damage thankfully.
With 2 weeks of strict bedrest and some oral steroids, I was better and avoided surgery.
I hope the same for you.

Oh freaking goodness!!!!! 2 weeks of bedrest? I'd die. I hope swimming is enough for me. I am going for that electro test in a few weeks.

I hope it's nothing, but I'd avoid physical activity. It made things 1000x worse for me (and my sister who had the same issues). I will warn you, that stupid test hurts be prepared to be shocked.... In the end though, it will help and determine the course of action. I just wanted to avoid back surgery at all costs since I was only 25 at the time. And I did and haven't had any issues in the past 10 years.
