For me - Garth Brooks! He was phenomenal.
Oh my god ! I've always wanted to see him & am so mad that he doesn't tour anymore !! 
My favorite concert has to be the first time I saw Metallica back in 1990-something at Nassau Coliseum. I was a huge fan at the time and I was right up against the stage....

Def Leppard back in the 80's.
I just got chills thinking back to that concert!
I had the most awesome time at Monsters of Rock but....
My all time hands down favorite concert was Billy Joel and Elton John. I've seen them both numerous times separately but the just kicked major azz together!

U2 at MSG 6/19/2001. My first time in the front row.
runners up...
U2 at Nassau Coliseum 9/10/1987. My first U2 show.
Starsailor and the Charlatans at Irving Plaza in early 2002. Crowd was mobbed with people from the UK who flew over to see the Charlatans in such a small venue. Just plain fun.
OMG I used to love the Charlatans, Tim Burgess used to live in my neighbourhood before he moved to the states. I saw them at that venue thats a rollerskating rink in 1998...it was great fun!

Randomly- Blink 182 at some weird venue in NJ. It was outside, in a beautiful valley, all standing room. With a beer garden. Tailgating beforehand... peeing in the woods.
Of course I Blink 182, but it was the ambiance that made it the best concert ever.

ooh that's a tough one. it would have to be a toss up between korn and staind at the garden (same concert) and tool at the egg in albany.

Saw her 3 times in concert. Love her. What a voice. Dancer...not so much!
Also...Rick Springfield last summer. Finally got to see my childhood crush.
He came into the audience.
I pulled his hair and grabbed his azz.
It was awesome!

Well I've only been to 2 concerts in my lifetime so I don't have much to choose from but...
Sting in Central Park
He was awesome and it was so nice sitting out on the grass as the sun went down!!!

Guns N Roses in '91 was my favorite. Close seconds, Metallica a few years ago and I saw Ozzy last month with Rob Zombie and it was great.

Tom Petty in Washington State. The venue was in the mountains and we camped out. It was amazing. I am not even a big Tom Petty fan.

I was there to! I lost my ering and wedding band on the beach only hours before...that concert took the sting out of that!
also..U2 with Garbage...I cannot remember when that was LOL
and
U2's free concert under the Brooklyn Bridge. awesome,

All the Bon Jovi concerts (I saw him 7 times) & ok I'll admit Nysnc - I had a crush on Jc and my friend had a crush on Joey...we saw their No Strings Attached tour a few times...We had a blast dancing and singing like we were 13 again @ a NKOTB concert...

One of my favorite memories is Counting Crows at Jones Beach Theatre - so romantic 
Love Counting Crows. I was at this one too.
I love concerts at Jones Beach. Just love the view and the fact that almost all seats are good.

Either Billy Joel or Barenaked Ladies - they put on a really fun show!
After seeing all these posts about Bon Jovi, I may have to try and get tickets if they ever come out to the west coast...
