How often do you CLEAN your refrigerator??

I mean take EVERYTHING out and scrub it down???
I will be honest I really dont do it that much I will wipe down but not take all the stuff out and clean it

well I just made a promise to myself that I will do it at least every other week because all I can say is EWWWWWW

we do it weekly in our house when we clear the fridge out of any leftovers that we have.

Get rid of expired food once a week & the major scrub down is every 6-8 weeks.

I usually do it the day I go food shopping which is every wk however by the time I go food shopping I hardly have anything in it so it makes it easy. I live with animals (4 boys including my dh)

Too long, we really need to do this. I wipe down the shelves and get rid of bad food when necessary but a good cleaning, well not often enough.

I do two shelves a week and of course throw out anything that's no longer edible. Can anyone say anal????

I took everything out and SCRUBBED down the inside of the fridge about 2 weeks ago (there was a container of DS's oatmeal that had opened and spilled down the back all the way from the top to the bottom ). That took me about an hour since the oatmeal had been there for a few days
Before that, ummmmmm never Weekly, I wipe down the shelves. Does that count?

I clean it out weekly & disgard any cooked food that is a week old. Also check for expired items.

Scrub the fridge, just did it last weekend & I probably won't do it again until the summer. I know bad, but honestly our fridge stays quite clean

I just did this this past weekend. And I feel you. It was a little . I honestly have not scrubbed down that fridge like that since we moved in a year and a half ago. But it's just DH and I so it really doesn't get too messy. I wipe it down and clean out all the junk regularly. After this cleaning, Im planning on scrubbing it good at least once a month. It just doesn't need it more. We barely keep food in the fridge as it is.

Every few months, usually a major vacation. I mean, I clean OUT the frig weekly, but removing shelves, cleaning drawers and all that is not crazy often.

about every month or so when its the emptiest I take everything out & do the full scrub-magic eraser works great-when I get home from the grocery store before I put everything in it.
On a weekly basis I try to chuck old stuff & wipe anything obvious.
