So this should have been my month to start again
We started trying in September w/ no luck that month or in October. I got a BFP in November, but m/c very early (5 weeks). The whole time, I was diligently temping, using OPKs, used Preseed & Mucinex the month it actually worked. I waited for AF, which arrived 12 days ago, and we should be trying now. But...we're not. For no particular reason, just not in "the mood," or too tired, or whatever. I think I'm hesitant because I'm afraid of going through the whole thing over again.
I don't know what kind of advice i'm looking for here, maybe just reassurance that it's ok if we wait another month? I'm 32, not getting any younger, but, I don't know, I'm just confused.

Of course it is ok for you to wait another month. It will happen when the time is right. Can't make yourself crazy over it!!!

It definately is ok to wait another month. You can't force yourself into something again until you are ready. It will take you sometime to get over the fear but don't use the age thing. Many women wait until later, so when you are emotionally ready, that's when you start

first , sounds like you should give yourself another month. You need to feel comfortable after a MC. You'll know when you are ready, and you will get pg again

Re: So this should have been my month to start again
I am so sorry. I completely understand, I had a m/c in October, was supposed to start again in December (clomid & IUI), but had a cyst and couldn't so we had to wait until this month. I am now in my TWW and 5 DPO/IUI.
Keep the faith! It's not easy, I know! And you aren't too old! I'm 39 and still in the game!

Re: So this should have been my month to start again
This is exactly why a lot of oby/gyn's suggest to couples who experience an m/c to wait a month or two - not because there are any physical complications, but because having an m/c can take a real emotional toll on you, and to get through your next pregnancy, you really should be mentally ready.
When I miscarried, I got pregnant a week later, unexpectedly. I don't regret it at all, but I do have to admit, I probably wasn't ready, and because of that I didn't enjoy even an iota of my first trimester - I was a MESS.
In the grand scheme of things, one month isn't going to make a difference. GIve yourself the time you need to heal and prepare for the next time.
