OPK's are driving me
NUUUUUTTTSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
This is exactly why I didn't want to start using them. Day 14 and still negative. It might be ever so slightly darker today than yesterday.. but still a definite negative. I am using the Target brand OPK's. Any opinions on them? Good, bad, indifferent?
Is there anyone out there that does not see a gradualy darkening of the line and just sees a light line every single day and then BAM a positive? I am hoping that is what is happening to me. Who the "h -e- double hockey stick" knows? My CM is thinning out to pretty much watery and there is A LOT of it.. so I guess I am still waiting for the big O. We bded last night so I am waiting for the positve to do it again..
But guess what??.... my box of OPk's runs out tommorow.. More money down the pooper. I have to go buy more if I don't get the positve tommorw. AND I have class tommorow right after work so I have to POAS in the work bathroom.. place it very gently in my purse in a flat position and walk it back to my office ( Very slowly and steadily so I don't disturb it....without anyone questioning why I look like a loon) where I can stare it for 10 minutes until the background fades away and I can see a result..

How long is your cycle normally. Not everyone ovulates on CD 14-I used to O on CD 16 or 17. Also I notic ethat I always O 2-3 days after I see EWCM..no that probably doesn't apply to everyone but it will give you a reference point

Re: OPK's are driving me
i use the Target brand OPK's all the time & have definately gotten + with it. You might have started to test early but that is ok just bc you are not sure when you O'ed. Last cycle, I apparantly Oed on CD34 which is not typical but I have a super long cycle, as you know. I have though in other months gotten a + OPK on CD17. Hang in there & keep testing...

Re: OPK's are driving me
I hate them too!!!! I used them for 3 cycles. Generic brands. The first cycle I got a dark +. The next 2 cycles the lines were darker and darker everyday but never darker than the control line. We were still sure to BD every other day but I hear you on the wasting $$$ and time and effort thing!
Oh scheduling a 3 hour pee hold and test when its not a normal day (like the one you have tomorrow) is lots of fun too. BTW try not to get any pee on your purse!

Re: OPK's are driving me
I love doing the test in the office, when I try to do it quietly and pee all over my hand and then take the stick wipe it down bc I got pee all over it and then make sure no one else is in the bathroom with me and then ever so gently but quickly run back into my office!!!! edited to wish you GL!!! And tell you I sometimes hate OPK's as well!!! I can't believe how much $$$ I've spent on them already!!!

My cycle varies. It has been as short as 26 and as long as 33. So I started to test on CD9 just to be sure. This is my first month so I guess I just don't know how it is going to go.

You are like the James Bond of Peeing on a stick.. LOL.. It should be interesting because I work in a school. I don't want to explain to my students why I have a pee covered stick in my hand

Re: OPK's are driving me
Just an FYI- the test line can be the SAME COLOR or darker than the control. I have also gotten positives where the test line is only dark on one side. I have found in these cases, if I wait a few hours I will get my positive that day.

Yeah I saw some info on getting one side of the line positve. One side is darker but it is still lighter than the control so I know I am still negative. Thanks

Re: OPK's are driving me
tell me about it!
I started testing on CD 13 and I'm on CD 22 and still no +
I also tested twice on two different days (I'm in denial!) so I'm almost done with my SECOND box of clearblue digitals! This is getting pricey

Re: OPK's are driving me
I like them because I feel better knowing that we are BDing at the right time, but on the other hand waiting to O is almost as aggrevating as the 2WW! Instead of being insane for 2 weeks, I get to be insane all month. AF felt like a vacation.
