Went to the gyno today...
and informed him that I haven't had AF in 55 days. I had blood work (to test my hormones) and am going for an internal sonogram next week. He wants to check my uterus, cervix, ovaries, etc. I have a history of ovarian cancer in my family, so he wants to make sure there aren't any cysts. He said after he gets results, we'll discuss our "options". He told me that he might put me on Provera or eventually, some medicine to help me ovulate. I know it's not the end of the world, but discouraging though.

 hang in there hun, i had cysts on my ovaries before getting pregnant with DD.. so it can still happen.. i pray that it isnt anything serious for you... good luck

try to keep your head up & think postively! Having the bloodwork done will be an advantage for you bc then you will have some answers...It could be something so simple

I understand how discouraging it can be. However, try to keep positive until the results come back. Even if you do need Provera, it is a step in the right direction.

Thank you everyone.
I kind of feeling silly posting that I am a little upset. So many of you have struggled for such a long time and have experienced so much. I really admire all of you and your strength to keep fighting for your little miracle!
I will try my hardest to stay positive. It's just amazing - all my life I've never thought getting pregnant would be a problem. Now that it might be a possibility for me, it's a huge reality check.

Don't get too discouraged. After being on BC for so long I didn't get AF for 48 days...two cycles in a row. After 4 months I am starting to get back to a somewhat normal cycle. I applaude your proactivity!
I think it's a reality check for most women. We spend the first half of our lives avoiding pregnancy as best we can thinking that if we sit on a dirty toilet we could get PG  Now we realize that well it's really not that simple!

I am the cyst queen and still concieved DD. Rather than be discouraged, be excited that actions are being taken to help you get your BFP!!!

Honestly, it's because of you girls that I realized I should be proactive and do something sooner than later, so when the time comes, I am prepared to conceive. So thank you all!!!!!
