I would pay it.. your registration was expired, wrong type of car or not, you were in the wrong and should pay the ticket.

agreed, if the ticket is not filled out in it's entirety, then it's void...also, I think with things like that, if you get them taken care of within a week or so of the ticket, then the ticket gets dismissed...

ITA ...To my knowledge, you will be dismissed if you send proof of getting this rectified within a certain time frame (couple of days or a week). Plus a ticket must have ALL correct info for it to be valid.

Me too. I have fought at least 4 parking tickets (years ago) when I lived in the city. I won everytime and i did it through the mail. I simply took pics and wrote letters.

i fight every ticket- send them proof of your inspection and they will dismiss the ticket.

I wouldn't bother. Your inspection was in fact expired and so you were breaking the law. I would suck it up and just pay it.
