Kitchen Aid Mixer - finally out of the box!
After 2 years in an unopened box I am happy to report that I have finally opened and used my Kitchen Aid mixer, wohoo!! I absolutely love it but now I am trying to figure out where and how to store it.
For those of you that have the Kitchen Aid Mixer please let me know how you store it? Do you leave it on the counter? How often do you use? and what great things have you made with your mixer?

i leave that and my food processor out on the counter. they are so heavy, so if i put them away, i won't want to take them out - which means i wont use them as much. i love mine too btw!

I leave mine on the counter. And since I have the purple one and I love purple it works out nice with the decor and it is way to heavy to move around all the time.

I keep it on the counter....I use it very often. Its one of my favorite things!
I use it to make cookies, cakes, pizza dough...you name it.

we just leave ours out on the counter... it looks pretty there 
i don't use it TOO often, mostly just when i'm baking a couple times a year... BUT, look into some of the attachements for it! we got the ice cream maker attachement for it last year, and we've used that a bunch of times... its pretty cool!

I have a cabinet under the counter with a shelf in it that I keep it on. The shelf is spring loaded and comes up and out of the cabinet so I can use the mixer right there on the shelf. I love that feature in my cabinets!

Lol - Mine JUST came out the box last night too - after 2 and 1/2 years .......-
and there was flour ALL over my kitchen b/c I have not mastered the art of 'S L O W' speed when adding ingredients . -
I'll leave it out for now b/c I'll use it during the holiday - after that it'll go back in the box until I have another 'big' project ...........I don't have enough counter - space to keep it sitting there

I have a tiny kitcehn & mine is on the counter, but my counter is l-shaped, so it is in the corner. It is out of the way, but I can pull it closer when I need it.
We don't have much else on the counter, we keep the coffee maker in the cabinet , because we only use it for company & the toaster is on a shelf on the microwave cart & only comes out when we use it, even thoguth we use it more thn the stnad mixer. It is easier to move that, than the stand mixer.
We use it for cookies, mashed potatoes or turnips, whipped cream, ice cream & sorbet
(we have the attachment).

I've had mine for 5 years, and never had my own kitchen - so it went in and out of the box as needed. DH & I just moved into our own place. It has yet to make it out of the box.

I used to leave it on the counter, but my new places has cabinet space for it, so I store it there!
I  mine! I use it for everything that requires mixing, because it's so easy to clean!

and I use it ALL the time! I mostly use it for baking, but I also love using it for mashed potatoes and when I make anything with ground beef/ground turkey.

I keep my kitchen aid (pistachio green) on the counter. I use mine for cheesecakes and Magnolia cupcakes. It is my fav. appliance!
