This is a great recipe to make in the mixer. The crust is a bit of a challenge but it comes out so good and creamy. I think it's the sour cream.
I have made this cake forever. It wouldn't be Thanksgiving with my family without this cake.
DINAH SHORE CHEESECAKE

CRUST:
1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c. nuts (opt.)
1/2 c. melted butter
FILLING:
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sour cream
Mix crust ingredients. Remove 3 tablespoons for topping. Press remaining on bottom and up sides of 9" spring form pan.
Combine eggs, cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Blend in sour cream.
Pour into crust. Top with reserved crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Chill 4 to 5 hours before serving.

If you like cheesecake you have to make this one it's so good. I've been making it since I was 15. And now Honeymaid makes the graham cracker crumbs already crushed so now I don't have to take out the food processor to grind them up.
