I never wear heels anymore when carry Cailen. I wear crocs to the car, and change my shoes in the car because I have a million steps coming from my house....

The fact that a photgrapher was there to capture the entire mishap is quite sad. The poor kids are gonna grow up thinking that every family gets chased down by photgraphers.

Aww, that must have been scary for Katie. I don't know that I'd say it's the shoes. They probably are part of it, but toddlers are squirmy. Suri probably wanted to walk on her own and was putting up a fight. I nearly fell down the stairs this week holding Andy when he was squirming all over and I was in sneaks.

As a mother with a DD the same age and weight. It's so hard to balance a 25lb kid in heels. Sometimes you just gotta be less glamorous...or opt for sturdier heels...

She's on vacation and probably wanted to dress up, I am sure you are allowed to dress up when you have a baby too.
I like that she is holing Suri, its nice bonding and they always look sooo happy to be together.
Katie gets so much crap but she really looks like a wonderful mother.

Maybe if cameras weren't in her face 24/7 she'd feel more comfortable strolling her daughter around...or perhaps she just likes to hold her daughter.

hmm i wonder if that is why they are always holding their kids (they = celebrities) most of the moms i know always use strollers. . . but i wonder if it just too scary for them! that would actually make sense
and looks like katie should take some lessons from Victoria B
