In my early 20's i was told that i would not be able to conceive. My mother offered to carry a child for me. 9 years later to everyones surprise i got pregnant. My son is inow a healthy 9 year old.
I would definitley carry a child for my SIL or BFF. I remember how devestated I was when i was told I couldnt have one.

If someone close to me needed it, I would happily do it (after I have my own first though). I feel it is the greatest gift you can give. And for those of you who feel it is messing with Gods plan, I feel just the opposite. I feel it is one of the most selfless acts someone can do and because of the medical advances it is possible. How is it against God to procreate?

My sister, without ever giving it a second thought.
Perhaps a close friend, if they really needed it, and had no one else....
But I LOVED being pregnant and had a relatively easy pregnancy - not everyone is so lucky!

If my sister ever needed me to carry a baby for her, I would in a heartbeat. I also have told my best friend that if he ever finds the right man, I would absolutely carry their child. He asked me sincerely, and JT and I both agree that we would do that for him without a doubt.

I would in a heartbeat for my brother and his wife. Although she has 2 sisters and a cousin who is like a sister to her so I'm sure she'd ask them first.
I'd also do it for my BIL and his FW, even though I'm not as close to them. But I know my BIL will be a great dad and if they needed us we'd be there for them. Again, my FSIL has a sister so I'm sure she'd go to her first.
ETA: I'd never be able to do it for someone I wasn't going to see a lot. There is such a bond developed when you are pregnant and I'd definately need to be able to be a big part of the baby's life. I admire people who can do it for strangers, but I never could.
