I do most of my shopping on my lunch hour, and I'm usually home before him...so it really depends on how much I bought. if it's just a couple of tops or something and it's been a while since I came home with some bags, no problem. But sometimes I do the stuffing in the closet trick

I do that with my pocketbooks, I have about 65-70 of them all different, some real, some knockoffs but all of them I use. If its real I tell him its a knock off or that it was on clearance, but I never tell him what I actually pay for any of them and he really doesnt ask.

I do that all the time.
My Mom does too but now what she does is has everything she buys online or QVC shipped to my house. Then when she babysits she picks the stuff up and gets rid of the boxes at my house

I smuggle my purchases in b/c I feel guilty - not b/c he would give me sh!t. Then I end up showing him and he says, "good for you, I'm glad you got something you like".
I feel guilty b/c we're renovating the house and he doesn't buy anything for himself b/c he spends every second and every dime on the house.
I tried to buy him an item here and there too - to alleviate my guilt

I hide some things. Only because I have a shopping problem. He doesn't care, but I just don't feel like hearing him tease me about shopping.
ETS: And, I am always the one telling he we need to spend less. He hardly spends anything.

I have so many pairs of shoes that I honestly don't think my DH would know if they were new or not.
He doesn't really care what I buy myself, so I really don't have to hide anything. Sometimes I don't go out of my way to show him what I bought because I feel guilty of spending money on stuff I don't need. But he'd never tell me I can't or shouldn't buy something. All he says is "Whatever makes you happy".

my FSIL is the queen of that...however my FH knows everything that i have so im out of luk in that dept.....the way i look at it i make my own money as well and can buy something if i want it!

He hides from me! I'm the saver, he's the spender. he actually lied to me before the wedding and told me the PSP was his friends that he was borrowing for the HM. Months later i seethe cc bill for it and FLIPPED out on him. Huge fight! He just does not understand money and I have to constantly remin him to be aware of his spending.
