Charities that pick-up?
Has anyone donated to a charity that picked up your items at your house?

I don't have the details (they always call me), but Beth Jacobs picks up and leave the receipts in your mailbox. Once you're on their list, they call about once a month and you can tell them you have stuff, or not. I love dealing with them!

the salvation army in Hempstead does. Their contact info is on the salvation army website- search by location.
