After a Ectopic Pregnancy how long
They believed back in March I had a ectopic pregnancy but couldn't say for sure when they did the sonogram. So they gave me the metro shot and my dr told me to wait until June to take the HSG test to see if my tubes are blocked.
After being being depress for the last couple of months blaming myself I decided to schedule a appointment with the sher Institute for reproductive medicine have anyone ever heard of them. I have appointment on wednesday. My dr advise me to use protection until then.
So I have not try TTc as of yet. This was my first miscarriage. Did anyone had a situation like mines when the dr could not determine if it was an ectopic or regular miscarriage? If so how long did it take to get pregnant again.

My co-worker had an EP and was able to conceive 3 months later. Her Dr. asked her to wait at least 1 month. She is not 12 wks PG.

My sister had an EP after two previous miscarriages. 3 months after the EP she was pregnant. Now she has a 3 year old healthy son as well as an 18 month old healthy son.

My doctors weren't sure if I was miscarrying or having an ectopic pregnancy. They couldn't tell from the sonogram and I was in so much pain and bleeding so much, they did a D&C. The pathologist couldn't find the villi (sp?) and that made them think it must have been ectopic. They checked me the in hospital for a few days and the pathologist kept testing the tissue from the D&C and they kept testing my hormone levels. My levels kept dropping so they determined it was a miscarriage and I must have passed everything on my own. That was 13 weeks ago and I'm still not PG. But, I was told to wait for two normal AFs before trying, I'm just now finishing the second AF.

I had one in feb however i di d not have the metro shot....i had surgery because my tube ruptured. They were unable to "see it" as you said but they know it was there becasue of my beta levels....hang in there, i got preggo first try with ONE tube...i am 9 weeks ( i think) preggo right now! I have heard to wait enough time if you have had that shot, so ask the dr. I was told to wait 2 cycles after the surgery. I got one pd, a week after so i only waited about 1.5 months.....Hope that helps...

I had exactly the sme situation and as long as you had the methotexate you should be finew. They should be monitoring your hcg levels to make sure they go below 5. GL

My HCG levels went to 0 the beginning of last month. I had a regular AF last month too. This month AF arrived a little late. I am wondering does the shot affect your cycle. I was supposed to get AF on may 13th instead I got it today. It is very lite and pink. I am wondering could I be pregnant.
