Are you looking for an infant seat? I only registered for and recieved this one
I didn't register for a convertible, I kind of feel that DH and I should by the "secondary" stuff.

This is from a previous post from another girl - thought it might be helpful:
I was just reading the Feb 07 Consumer Reports and there is an interesting article in the issue.. One thing they pointed out that kinda surprised me was that infant car seats in Europe outperformed US models made by the same company. In any case I thought I would list the performance ratings on car seats for infants:
1. Baby Trend Flex-Loc Adjustable Back
2. Graco Snugride with EPS
3. Chicco KeyFit
4. Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP
5. Compass I410
6. Evenflo Embrace
7. Britax Companion
8. Graco SafeSeat
9. Safety 1st Designer
10. Combi Centre
Not Acceptable; Did Not Meet Federal Standard
11. Evenflo Discovery
Not Acceptable; Could Not Be Installed Securely
12. Eddie Bauer Comfort
Also the top two are among the most affordable (four seats were under $100 listed and included the #1 and #2 rated models); just proves again the most expensive is not always the safest/best.

Didnt Consumer Reports take back this report saying that the seats were tested a speeds that were far too fast and therefore inaccurate?

They did, I registered for the snugride because I felt like it still outperformed the others......Also, it got the best reviews in Baby Bargains....

We registered for the Graco Snugride and I just saw it was bought for us today!!!

We got the Graco Sungride - we registered for the Britax Roundabout - but since no one bought it for us we are going to hold off buying it until we need it and then decide between the Roundabout and the Marathon.

Graco Snugride as well..... even though the Consumer Reports test was flawed by testing at faster speeds than required, the Snugride STILL passed......

We did the snugride for the infant seat. DH works for an insurance co so we get 1 carseat for free, so we decided to wait and use that for her regular carseat. We will probably have 2, but at least getting one for free will help
