So, the new job is a little intense/overwhelming
I came in on the busiest day of their month; I worked through lunch and stayed until 7:30. I hope it's not like that everyday...they just kinda threw me in and I still have SO MUCH to figure out. The person in my spot before was really unorganized, so I just have a lot of work ahead of me. On the upside, the people seem nice, I don't even have to leave in the morning until 9, and I saw a bunch of people wearing jeans!

I came home and cried, though. I hadn't eaten all day, I had a headache, and I was overwhelmed. That's what I do when I'm stressed. I cry! Anyway, I'm excited to get going today....I know it'll be great.

Make sure you go prepared today with snacks and you have to take a lunch break. That time is yours to regroup. I think once this week is over, you will feel a little better about it.

Wow... Seems overwheming!  Lots of luck Lana. I know how it feels to be the "new girl". You will be on a routine schedule before you know it. Take it one step at a time.

It's hard to just jump in and be productive like that, but you'll figure it out soon enough. And like you said, this is a busy time for them, I'm sure it will calm down.

I'm sure once you get used to everything and learn the in's and out's you'll be alot more comfortable and it won't be overwhleming for you! Hang in there and CONGRATS on the new job!

I had a very similar first say here-- things did calm down a bit, although-- I know there will be plenty of days that are like that.
In a way-- it's kinda good to just be thrown in like that.
