Question about birth control pills
How long after your first birth control pill is it effective against pregnancy? The person would be starting them for the first time.
I have to settle a bet with someone.

I think the second month. The first month you still need to use a barrier method, like a condom.

I would say it could take up to a month, depending on the person & the type of pills. BC pills make your body "think" you're pg & therefore, prevents it from releasing a egg each month. I would assume this can take a whole cycle, just to be on the safe side

yup.. i's 7 days (well, for most.. you'd have to check the exact one).. but they say to wait a few weeks just to be sure, b/c everyone's body is different.
