Oh and to make matters worse.....
Someone side swiped my car this wkd and took off my drivers side mirror and I have a $500 deductible.....
AND THE HITS JUST KEEP ON COMIN'.....

Hey, it s*cks....but when it rains it does pour and that's life sometimes! I'm sorry!
I am one of those people who really put life in perspective, so I tend not to offer much sympathy all the time....if it's health related, I'm there.....but when it's other stuff, I tend not to be so much.
Hey, you're okay, right? No harm? Then that's what matters....looking on the bright side comes with age, maturity, and some hard knocks.
It's not that I'm not sorry for you...I just want you to try and find some positives! I know you must have soooo many!

that happened to me a few months ago- the dealer quoted me over $300.
i bought the piece on ebay, and had a friend (who's a mechanic) do it- ended up costing $75, and most of that was me tipping him.
like someone else said- price it out.

I couldn't have said it better. It does stink but at least you have a wonderful, healthy husband who loves you. You have a good family and are blessed to have the things you do.

I couldn't have said it better. It does stink but at least you have a wonderful, healthy husband who loves you. You have a good family and are blessed to have the things you do.
Thank you. I'm not being harsh, Michele...I truly feel ya....maybe this was the wrong post to tell you that in, but really....you got it going on, girl! I see it in your face, your wedding photos....put the car in the "that stinks" file and try and focus to improve your finances.
