Juat read something on the relationship board
The post about walking in on someone. A posted walked in on her man with a girl she called "fat". Someone replied with, "I guess chubby girls cant be attractive.
How do you feel about this statement?
Was the poster wrong to say this, or was she just expressing herself?
I would have to say she was just expressing herself.

When I originally read that post, I did not understand why she had to add that the girl was fat. Would it have been any different if the girl was skinny? I thought the comment was completely uncalled for! JMO

I think she was just adding an insult because she was pizzed when it happened.

yes i thought the same thing. i mean, some of you had an ex b/f and when they got a new g/f i am sure you found some kind of flaw (ex- she has a big nose) and said it.

IMO i think it is just the anger that is there after being soo hurt by that..
so of course she used a nasty word to describe it
i really do not see it as "uncalled for"

I completely agree that the comment came from hurt feelings and anger.
And I do agree people at times are way to sensitive here. I just thought it was unnecessary to add.

I think it was more out of humilation and anger. I think alot of woman are uncomfortable regardless of their size so this person could have been a size 2 and maybe in the posters eyes she felt it might hurt this person in some way by saying she was fat.

I would just like to state for the record that I was not offeneded by the comment. But if you do look on the original post of the relationship board someone seemed like they took offense to or was hurt by the "fat" comment! I was just stating that I could see how someone would see the comment being "uncalled for"
