Another gift spinoff Communion
I know. Another what to give question. This is for a nephew's Communion coming from a family of two parents and four kids. I tried to make a poll but then couldn't edit it. Sorry!

We didn't have a big party, just a lunch at a restaurant for immediate family. Most people gave DD between $200 and $250....they were pretty much all aunts and uncles to her as we only invited our siblings really. Most were just 2 attending (grown kids or no kids). The largest family was a family of 4 (2 kids)
I went to one last week... same thing... small luncheon at a,restaurant...not a nephew though, it was my cousin's child. Me, DH and DD attended and we gave $150

Damn, I better send an extra thank you card to the people who attended DD's Communion lunch because it seems they were overly generous!

I don't think family size matters when it comes to Communion gifts. We give a standard of $100.

For a nephew I would say $200, but since that wasn't an option I chose $150.

We just had my daughters communion a couple weekends ago and on average family gave 100 and friends gave 50. Some of my immediate family and her godmother gave 200
